School children

Children entitled to municipality-funded school transportation receive an OSL travel card from their school onto which travel tickets are loaded. The ticket entitles the child to two school trips on Mon-Fri between 6.00-18.00.

If the card breaks or there are problems with its use, please contact the school secretary. Lost cards  should be reported to the school secretary immediately.

Other OSL tickets or value cannot be loaded onto the card meant for school travel.

The child must have another travel card for other public transportation travel outside school trips onto which other tickets and value can be loaded.

Students under seven years old

If a child starting school under the age of seven is not entitled to a municipality-paid school transport, they must show their personal OSL card to the ticket machine when boarding. The OSL card for children under seven can currently only be purchased from Oulu10 service desk. Bring the child’s identity document or Kela card. You can order an OSL card for your underage child for free from the Waltti online shop or obtain it at a fee from the Oulu10 service desk. Be prepared to present the child’s identity document or Kela card at the service point.
