Due to the large number of passengers, an extra bus will run alongside Line 22 under the line number 22+. Line 22+ will only operate on weekdays (Mon-Fri) from September 7 to October 30. It will not run during the school autumn break in week 43.
The starting stop for Line 22+ is Isko P, with a departure time of 7:04 AM. It will arrive at its final stop Haukipudas OSAO at around 7:44 AM. Otherwise, the route of line 22+ is the same as line 22. In practice, two buses leave the Isko P stop at the same time, lines 22 and 22+, which follow the same route.
The extra bus with line number 22+ is a temporary solution for students commuting by public transport. Once students switch from classroom learning to workplace-based learning, the 22+ service will end. The last day of operation is Friday, October 30.
