Discounted tickets for seniors now available via the OSL app

Single tickets at a discounted rate for seniors can now be purchased using the OSL app; previously, this was only possible by using value loaded onto an OSL card.

The senior discount applies to everyone aged 65 and over. For seniors, a single ticket costs 2.20 euros (regular price 2.90 euros) during off-peak hours — specifically for trips starting between 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, as well as on public holidays that fall on weekdays.

How to do it

Since the discount is based on age, you must log in to the OSL app and complete a strong authentication process to access it.

If you already have an account for the online store (waltti.fi), you can use those same credentials to log in to the OSL app.

Routes and timetables in the OSL app

Did you know that the OSL app offers up-to-date timetables by stop, a navigation feature that guides you to the right stop based on your location—including walking directions to your final destination—as well as notifications about service changes?

The OSL app helps you stay informed, and if you’re traveling with a friend, you can even purchase a single ticket for them. If you haven’t used the OSL app yet, why not take a look now?

Do you need help using the OSL app?

At Oulu10 service points, you can receive personal assistance from a customer service representative on how to use the OSL app.

Additionally, at the Oulu10 location on Torikatu, students from the OSAO welfare technology program offer free, easily accessible digital support on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 9:30 and 14:00.
