How about heading into nature by bus this Easter? We operate throughout the Easter holidays — and you can reach several great nature destinations by bus!

Letonniemi Nature Conservation Area

Located about six kilometres north of Oulu city centre, Letonniemi offers a 2.7 km nature trail along the shoreline, a fireplace area to enjoy some snacks, and a birdwatching tower perfect for spotting early signs of spring.

You can reach Letonniemi Nature Conservation Area (Rajahaudantie 19, Oulu) by buses 4, 4A, 20B, 21, and 23. From the nearest bus stops, it’s about a 10‑minute walk to the nature trail.

Vihiluoto

In Vihiluoto, Kempele, you can enjoy an accessible 0.8 km nature trail that runs along the seashore. Along the route, you’ll find a fireplace area as well as a birdwatching tower.

You can reach Vihiluoto (Vihiluoto 10, Kempele) by buses 8 and 9. From the nearest bus stops, it’s about a 5‑minute walk to the nature trail.

Nallikari

Although best known as a summer destination, Nallikari is also well worth a visit in spring. From Nallikari you can head to the 5 km Hietasaari nature trail or explore the many shorter walking routes in the area. The Nallikari central playground is a guaranteed favourite among families with children!
